The Edgewater Hotel & Casino is a resort in Laughlin, Nevada, United States, on the banks of the Colorado River. The hotel has 1,450 rooms in a large 26 story tower, and has a casino with more than 60,000 sq ft (5,600 m2) of gaming space. It has the largest race and sports book in Laughlin, poker, and a keno lounge.[citation needed] The hotel also has a pool and several restaurants.
Gaming at Edgewater: Over 60,000 square feet (5,600 m2) with over 1,200 slots and video poker machines, 30 tables games (including $1 craps and $2 blackjack), a poker room, race and sports book (Laughlin's largest), and a keno lounge. Edgewater and Colorado Belle players can earn points redeemable for comps and cashback through MGM-Mirage's One Club.
Swimming and Recreation: Edgewater features an outdoor swimming pool and fitness area. Guests also have easy access to the Laughlin Riverwalk, jet ski rentals, and river cruises.
Salon The salon caters to both men and women with hair and nail services.
Entertainment and Nightlife: Kokopelli's lounge features live bands (country, blues, rock).
Meetings and Weddings Edgewater has over 15,000 square feet (1,400 m2) of space for banquets, meetings, and conventions. There is also a wedding chapel.
Colorado Belle Location: Edgewater Hotel & Casino is situated on the banks of the Colorado River along the Laughlin Strip between the Flamingo Laughlin and the Colorado Belle (the Edgewater's sister resort). It is also within easy walking distance of several other casinos (please see our Laughlin Map for proximities), and across the street from the Horizon Outlet
Dining at Edgewater Hickory Pit A traditional steakhouse serving a variety of entrees, including charbroiled steaks and chops, hickory pit ribs and chicken, pasta, and seafood (most $12-25). Dinner only.

Fast Food Edgewater also has the following fast food outlets: a McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Dairy Queen (DQ), Krispy Kreme, and Orange Julius, as well as a snack bar and a coffee counter.
History
On October 16, 2006, MGM Mirage announced that it planned to sell the Colorado Belle Hotel & Casino and Edgewater Hotel and Casino to a partnership of Anthony Marnell III and Sher Gaming. The sale price was $200 million.[1]
The Nevada Gaming Commission approved the sale on May 17, 2007, and the transaction was completed June 1, 2007.[2]
On February 3, 2010, a speeding vehicle crashed into the Edgewater Casino's south entrance, destroying six banks slot machines and killing two casino patrons and injuring eight. Investigators said that the 75-year-old man had a 'medical episode' when he drove his Pontiac Vibe into the casino. [3]
